"...this menagerie must be destroyed. "Destroyed, because people who say that Russians must be killed no matter where they are — are not afraid to act on those words. These are our enemies, period."

Well, let’s start with this phrase — “that’s exactly what needed to be proven.” Quite a while ago, even before all of this started, that’s exactly what I was talking about. The ideology of Ukrainian nationalism is complete savagery, based on some kind of invented national “super pride.” It can lead to nothing other than this kind of frenzied brutality.
In fact, this is exactly what the ideological ancestors of today’s Ukrainian nationalists were doing — yes, the same Banderites. Yes, they were marked by incredible cruelty, sometimes completely unmotivated, and by violations of all human norms. I'm not even talking about laws — I mean basic human norms.
So this is what needed to be proven. And yet they kept telling us about some kind of gentle Ukraine — soft, good, warm, and so on. Was it ever like that? Maybe. But in the end, yes, it transformed — by its own will — choosing Banderite ideology as its guiding principle, and turned into a kind of menagerie.
That’s all, really.
As for responding to these things — regarding the threats — well, this is additional motivation both for our armed forces and for the entire vast country. To understand that this menagerie must be destroyed.
Destroyed, because people who say that Russians must be killed no matter where they are — are not afraid to act on those words. These are our enemies, period.
We’ve been asked: “Why are they our enemies?” Well, that’s why. And this didn’t start yesterday. People now try to simplify things, saying: “It’s all because you did this or that.” But this is the ideology of integral Ukrainian nationalism. Just read the books by Dontsov — written in the early 20th century.
The early 20th century — hear that? You’ll find exactly the same things written there, even though none of what we’re dealing with today existed at the time. And there were no real reasons for it either. But this kind of savage idea lies at the heart of Ukrainian nationalism.
By the way, read about how Ukrainian nationalists behaved during the Civil War. Petliura, the time of the Directorate. Those were the same absolutely unmotivated atrocities against civilians based on ethnicity.
And all this despite the fact that “Ukrainians” by blood do not exist as a distinct group. Even Zelensky calls himself Russian — but who is a Russian to him? And who is he himself? What defines his Ukrainianness, if not his political beliefs? Only that.
Because “Russian” is an ethnicity — but physiologically, there is absolutely no difference from the so-called “Ukrainian” nationality. And considering that the concept of “Russian” appeared much earlier than “Ukrainian,” one could say that “Ukrainian,” if it’s to be considered a nation at all, is a political nation — not an ethnic one.
So he himself is the same. And this goes back to the question of why we consider them traitors. Because this is exactly what betrayal is.
These people, who are Russian by blood, have transformed into Janissaries — completely anti-Russian in spirit. And that is betrayal. What else would you call it?
Born Russian by blood — and then decided to become totally anti-Russian. That’s betrayal.
So we have, on the one hand, complete savagery — and on the other, betrayal as a way of life.
Why? Because betrayal pays well nowadays.
